I am too white. Just ask my wife.

My point being is that there are more kinds of diversity than just racial. Take West Virginians, for example. Those inbred briar hoppers immigrate here to Ohio by the truckload (literally) and those six toed motherfuckers bring their sister/cousin/wives with them. They end up getting a job here at Dollar General and then proceed to squat and drop a bakers dozen of crumb snatchers. A few years go by and those mining camp rejects crumb snatchers grow up to have some decent bones, thanks to our free school lunch programs, and for the most part learn more in school than cyphering and gazintas. Eventually they grow up and marry someone from outside their family (lots of drama there) and proceed to then have children who don't have six toes, a superfluous nipple, cleft pallets or three eyes.

This is the result of diversity. Both genetic and cultural. In one generation going from an illiterate genetic defectives to something that can be taxonomically classified as human that can actually read and write and contribute to society at large. This is what diversity is. This is what happens when you're a cross roads region.

So this notion that the NYT planted that Ohio lacks diversity cause it's 80% white is something they pulled out of their ass.

Useless? Oh contrare! Buckeye trees make excellent cabinet and furniture lumber and its burls are great for small artistic items like pipes, guitars, chess pieces, etc. True they may not make good structural lumber but it has a lovely blonde color and a smooth even grain. So don't you dare call Buckeyes worthless. You want to see worthless? Go to a zoo and look at a wolverine.

True, lots of people have left WV. But I only know of one person that went to OH lol.

The vast majority have gone south---especially to NC.

I have several on my property and even the squirrels reject the nuts. Since we have a temperate climate , extreme variation in topography and didn't suffer glaciation we have the most varieties of trees of any state. You poor souls in Ohio...

What are you babbling about? Ohio is one of the closest races in the nation and you can't freaken watch TV without every other commercial being a Clinton or Trump add?

The only real thing of significance the NYT article is pointing out is that Trump needs Ohio more than Clinton does. To assume then that Clinton and the Democrats don't want Ohio is like one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

I suspect that, despite what recent polling has indicated, that Clinton will probably win Ohio because right now she has a better ground game organization that Trump does. She has more feet on the ground and more money invested in get out the vote and vother registration drives.
