Maybe it's just me lol, but I've always been under the impression rich people hire accountants to get them out of as many taxes as possible.

The only way you're going to fix that would be to junk the whole tax system and start over. Also, it points to why 'taxing the rich' is largely futile.

He pays lots in taxes just not income taxes. My brother is in real estate and hasn't paid income taxes in decades. It's the nature of that business. And because of that he gets audited every single year.
