Debate Thread

Your opinion is as useless as an asshole with tastebuds.

He faded fast. Sniffled and snorted. Lack of stamina. The double screen showed his childish facial expressions. No command of any of the subject matter. As usual.

Got his ass handed to him.

Overall I'm confused by Douchebag Donald's game plan. Is he thinking that certain damaging attacks would be perceived as stale by the third round, so he wants to get incrementally nasty? Or does he simply not have a plan?

I guess I don't understand the meaning behind that. Does it mean we should like Putin or want to be more like Russia's form of gov't?
it means we need effective leadership..Look at what Putin has been able to accomplish.
He's driving the agenda in Syria, he's partnering with Iran to create a Shi'a-Russian axis of power -he's peeling off Egypt and Saudi Arabia as firm allies.

In Europe he's buzzing US warships, and cementing a land bridge to Sevastopol and he's not paying any price except sanction for Crimea.
His economy is basically a "gas station" -but he's playing as a world power -and if energy ever picks up again that improves too

and what are we doing? sitting around calling him a tyrant?

Trump didn't have a great debate,, but I care about that as much as libtards care about Obamas shitty performance against Romney

One thing I noticed in the beginning was the odd way Crooked ILLary kept blinking. She also seemed off at times

But Trump did not do well. Missed lots of opportunities. Holts bias was obvious

Holt had to be biased. Look what happened to Lauer and Fallon.

Lauer was Too hard, on Hillary, and Fallon to soft on Trump. They are going to pay for it. The media mafia does not forget when you go against their narrative.

finite mean anything to you idiot

Thank God that debate is over. So depressing. Still hard to comprehend how we have chosen those two dinosaurs

You won't want to hear this, but you must look within to find that answer. It is "moderate" republicans who have created the incubator that led to Trump.

The liberal response to Holt tells you all you need to know lol.

When you are trying to make an appeal to a group of people you don't say "law and order" which has been a code word that has a negative connotation to that group. That doesn't mean the black community likes crime but it's not how you would them over.

One must put themselves in another's shoes to fully understand and be able to connect. Trump isn't doing that.

so how would you say it so you don't upset the feels of the black folk in the inner cities?

Ted Cruz was suppose to be this great conservative we missed out on the last two elections and he won no more than Huckabee won in the prior primary.

People like government too much in this country. It's how they want it to work is what's different.

By speaking to improvements that can be made where Democrats have failed. When you have a guy blacks alread think is racist saying law and order he's not winning them over. It's not about feels or feelings, it's about winning people over to your side

One thing that will be interesting to consider is how many people actually watched the entire debate? It is a reasonable question. Unless you are a political junkie, are you going to sit through 90 minutes? Maybe. Maybe not.

Now before the demalquedacrats pile on and claim I am making excuses for Trump. I am not. By every measure of a typical debate, he probably lost. But and this is a big BUT. He also lost the debates he was in during the primary. It didn't matter then. Why would it matter now?

So Crooked ILLary found a nice little spic girl he called fat. Big deal. They have been hitting him on being a sexist since the beginning. It hasn't worked up until now. What makes anyone think it will change things? She has one $100 million of ads against Trump and hasn't moved the needle.

My only point is that people keep trying to fit this election cycle into their typical election box and the way things have always gone. But, if Trump has proven anything, this is not a typical Presidential election. Maybe he wins. Maybe he loses. But, he has defied all political logic which is what really offends the political class. He is not beholden to them

Unless I hold some power I'm unaware of (I don't zero belief what I say here has any effect on what others think) the only influence I have is voting. By the time I vote in the Republican primary the nominee is already chosen. By the time I vote in the general election it's already been decided. There's no one in the house or senate i voted for.

I know several people that are the big players and fundraisers in Republican politics. What they do matters. In a political sense I'm a nobody. So if Bush being so bad is the reason for Trump them I'll accept guilt. But a lot of conservative republicans supported bush as well.

his instincts are right on Putin. Putin is a much more effective leader for Russia, then Obama is for the USA.
But I agree with you in that he didn't produce otherwise

Yeah, Russia has sham elections and is embroiled in an unprecedented economic meltdown, man do I wish we had that over in the US. That's what you want. You want the end of freedom, the end of democracy, and the US to be an internationally isolated pariah.

Allow me to explain. While I have no reason to question your conservative beliefs, I do question your willingness to fight.

The reason people are pissed and moving to Trump is that the GOP has been full of squishes not willing to fight. Trump shows he is willing to fight.

That is how I see you here. This is just my opinion but you seem more interested in making nice with the libtards here than really taking them on. That doesn't mean you need to call them cunts. Leave that to me

once again you fail basic comprehension, or you just make it up as you go along.

Given the fact that Russia isn't much more then a "glorified gas station" ( extractive economy) -Putin could be doing the same decrepid leadership as Yeltsin
He's a chess master to Obama's patzer play.

We all have different personalities and while I'll stand up for what I believe I'm not the type that's is always getting in people's faces and getting into big arguments. If you wanted a bulldog attorney to nail someone on the stand that wouldn't be my strength. (I'm not an attorney but just using the analogy.) If we were in a room of strangers I can generally make friends with many of them in a short period of time. I have a difficult time believing my personality is what's driving people to Trump.

To be a leader and to do things one has to be able to fight but also use many other skills and styles. Where I live I see numerous left wing groups out "fighting" and protesting for their rights but that's all they can do. They don't have any power and probably wouldn't know what to do with it if they had it.

So having a fighter is great but running a country and making change we support involves more than just fighting.
