Is black lives matter necessary?

FOr years libs have been telling us how bad blacks have it in the US therefore orgs like blm are a good thing. Trump says blacks have it bad and now libs tell us that that is not true and blacks are actually better off now.

If that is so do we still need BLM?

While dissipating black affluence can’t be completely blamed on Obama, 2009 marked a huge drop in black wealth, which widened the ever-lopsided wealth ratios between blacks and whites in the U.S.

“Sadly — and it pains me to say this — over the last decade, black folk, in the era of Obama, have lost ground in every major economic category,” Smiley told host Alyona Minkovski.

Despite the tough times, the talk show host said that African Americans have remained optimistic and have even been “too deferential” to the commander-in-chief:

Also in Chicago thanks to the Ferguson Effect, crime, murder and death are up!

Thanks BLM! YOu are immobilizing the police and thus costing more blacks their lives. They are costing black lives.
 
I would change the name to poor lives matter.


Black Americans have it much better than they did in 1860 and 1960, yet they still don't have the same opportunity as white Americans in 2016. They are still being killed by police in questionable circumstances disproportionally.

The issues still need work. Black Lives Matter, is working for more justice in that regard. I have a problem with the name in that it gives the Alt Right an argument that they are being reverse-racists. I don't have a problem with what I know about their work.
 
Is BLM needed? Why ask on an all-white message board? For a better answer, tsuke and Darthy should go to Charlotte and ask around on the street, lol.

I'll understand if they don't.

Apart from calling attention to bad cops [whilst turning a willful blind eye to black crime statistics] BLM is just another radical left group, which happens to be black.

So, predictably, they label Israel an 'apartheid state'.

Do you agree with that?

I wouldn't mind if they were JUST bringing attention to police shootings, but they are taking it too far. They encourage attacks against LE, and demanding reparations???

Further they seem to be a black supremacist org like black panthers or nation of islam.
