He had a bunch of investigators in Hawaii, and he couldn't believe that they were finding. America was going to be shocked.

I actually don't think Trump is capable of telling the truth; on anything. Honestly, if Hillary did something like Trump - harped over an over again, for years, about something like Obama not being born in the U.S. - and then said, well, okay he was born in the U.S....there would be calls for more Congressional investigations, relentless characterizations of how corrupt and dishonest she was, the works.

Trump is an absolutely despicable human being. You posters who support & will vote for him? Massive shame on you. Be embarrassed.

Patti Solis Doyle, who was Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager in 2008 until the Iowa caucuses, admitted on Friday that a Clinton campaign staffer had, in fact, circulated the Birther conspiracy theory that Barack Obama was born outside the U.S. and therefore potentially ineligible to serve in the presidency.

Doyle made the admission on Twitter, as she responded to former George W. Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer. Fleischer said that Clinton’s staff had spread the rumor. Doyle said that was a “lie” — but admitted, in the same tweet, that she had fired the “rogue” staffer who had used email to spread the Birther conspiracy theory.

Doyle appeared about an hour later on CNN with Wolf Blitzer to address the issue once again. She denied that Hillary Clinton had started the Birther theory — then admitted that someone in the Clinton campaign had, in fact, been involved. Here is part their exchange:

Blitzer: Someone supporting Hillary Clinton was trying to promote this so-called Birther issue? What happened?

Doyle: So we — absolutely, the campaign nor Hillary did not start the Birther movement, period, end of story there. There was a volunteer coordinator, I believe, in late 2007, I believe, in December, one of our volunteer coordinators in one of the counties in Iowa — I don’t recall whether they were an actual paid staffer, but they did forward an email that promoted the conspiracy.

Incidentally.....a volunteer coordinator or whatever is STILL part of her campaign....whether he was getting paid or not is irrelevant....that is just a cover your ass excuse, and totally lame.

I actually remember the incident...quite well, personally...
and Trump did not admit lying about anything....you're the liar about that claim.

lying to the American people (chronical) is always the worse thing a politician can do.
It cost Nixon the White House. Americans can forgive personal failings-they cannot forgive a serial liar.

I'll ask for the second or third time lol. I can't seem to get an answer. Granted, I should have known better than ask the troll.

Why or how is Obama's birth issue racist? Why is it racist to question where he was was born?

Would it cost Nixon today though? Watergate is a joke compared to some of the fibs that have been told in the bast 8 years. Not even counting Hillary's deplorable basket of prevarications.

Obamacare was passed based on lies---remember Jonathan Gruber? If Obamacare had been sold in the private sector someone would be doing prison time for fraud.

probably not -although Nixon's manipulation of the government to go after his opponents ( Enemies list) compounds lying to the American public.
It was so systematically build into the WH staff (etc.). Compared to that the Clintons are just political grifters.

again..lying in business is only lying if you get caught. The problem with Clinton is she is unable to stop lying directly to the American people
She's STILL doing it. She's blaming Powell, and her staff, and looking to the FBI for cover ( lying about those findings too)

This is where you're so disconnected w/ racial issues. Again, look no further than the reaction of the black community - they're not making this up.

But, it's easy for me to see, too. Since Obama started his candidacy, there has been a strong effort to paint him as "not one of us." He wasn't born here, his middle name, he's a Muslim, etc.

Why do you think that is, Darth? Really think on this one.

I really think if Obama were white no one would be shrieking racism if there was reason to question his place of birth.

It happens that Obama is black, so does that mean no one is allowed to ask questions about his place of birth?
