The problem I have with things like AA is that those who say they want to be judged by the content of their character don't have a problem when judging by the color of their skin gives them an advantage. If using race to deny is a bad thing, and it is, using race to benefit is just as wrong.

The sad part is those benefiting from things like AA think they've actually achieved something when it boils down to benefiting from something they had nothing to do with.

They use it to silence opposition. It is the latest leftist tactic. This way they can be intellectually lazy, and not have to defend their positions. They can just scream Racist, Bigot, Sexist. Even if you are opposing something mundane like AA, or voter ID, or wage gap.

It also allows real racists/bigots to flourish, because they over use the syntax and now it really means nothing.

Certainly not all, but many just fill out the welfare forms, and then go to the mailbox and grab the welfare check. Oh wait, maybe they don't even have to do that. They get the money direct deposit now. And the really lazy ones even find a program to get someone to deliver the food to their door.
