If you or I retired from a job and left with a truckload of your employers furniture, the language that Snopes used (a biased source) would be a bit different.

If businesses ran like most GovCo programs, they would all have declared bankruptcy years go. Take Social Security for example. Then add fraudulent accounting practices... For you to not understand this shows a massive case of fiscal mental retardation.

Interesting couple of articles in todays 'Economist' about 'post-truth' politics. Any old lie that 'feels true' is okay, because those who hate the Establishment suppose 'truth' to be something they come out with, a lie. Pity they can't learn some real truth - but McCarthy apparently put paid to that over there.
