You are just wrong, it has nothing to do with liking America, you can criticize something and still like it. I am sure your wife does it all the time with you! :)

Not standing for the flag means not liking America. If Kaep wants to protest the police, he can wear more "cops are pigs" socks, or he might consider burning a Fraternal Order of Police flag.
 
Then he should find a way to protest that doesn't involve disrespecting the flag or Constitution. I don't like the 17th or 23rd Amendments, but you won't find me burning the Constitution.
