had been 280 days since Hillary Clinton held a press conference (don't count the questions asked by friendly reporters at the Hispanic journalists convention) -- until today.

Clinton flew in her new plane and to mark the occasion, she agreed to take a few questions from the travelling press.
Judging from the questions these reporters asked her after 280 days of silence, you have to wonder why she's been avoiding them.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton greeted the press who are traveling on her new airplane on Monday morning and took a few questions.

Clinton, under pressure for not holding a press conference for nearly 280 days, was peppered with questions like, "How was your Labor Day weekend?" Another question: "Are you ready?"

"Do you have a Labor Day message?" one reporter asked.
"I do, you'll hear it," Clinton answered. "I definitely, I definitely do. If you want more happy Labor Days, you know who to vote for."

"Thanks, I'll come back later," Clinton said as she exited the cabin that holds the press.

OK...there was a bit more substantive - the problem is you COULD NOT HEAR THE QUESTIONS.

Andrea Mitchell asked *something ab out the emails scandal - Clinton gave some kina canned brush off.

Epstein had a front row aisle seat in the press section giving her an unobstructed view of Clinton greeting her admiring press corps.

A smiling Clinton, holding a roll of papers in her left hand, says to the press, “Hey guys! Welcome to our big plane! (Press responds, “Hi!”) It’s so exciting!”

First question to Clinton, “What do you think?”

Clinton replies, “I think it’s pretty cool, don’t you?”

Clinton talks over the second question, “How does it feel to…” and leans over the reporter telling him, “You’re supposed to say yes.” (Laughter from reporters.)

Third question, “Are you glad to have all of us with you?”

Clinton, “I am so happy to have all of you with me!”

Fourth question, “Have you missed us?”

Clinton, “I’ve been just waiting for this moment. And I’m thrill…No, really and I’ll come back and talk to you more formally but I wanted to welcome you onto the plane!”

Fifth question, “How was your Labor Day weekend?”

Clinton, “It was good! It was really good, yeah! We had a good time, the last moment of…(Clinton exaggerates a relaxing exhaling to demonstrate calm.)”

Clinton interrupts her reply to greet Showtime’s Mark McKinnon who is filming a documentary program on the election, “Hello Mark! I recognize your hat. How are you? I’m glad you’re here!”

Clinton finishes her reply to the Labor Day weekend question, “Yeah, last moment before the mad dash–the next two months. So I hope you guys are ready. And uh…

Sixth question, “Are you ready?”

Clinton, “I’m ready. I’m more than ready. (To staffer) Are you ready Ruhn? (sp)

Clinton staffer, “Very ready.”

Clinton, “Has Ruhn (sp) been taking good care of you?”

Press, “Yeah, he’s great. He has”

Staffer, “They are lying. (Laughter.) It’s been great.”

Clinton, “It really has been, how long have you been working for me now?”

Staffer, “Uh, two-and-a-half years?”

Clinton, “Two-and-a-half years. He started right out of, you were still, still in college?

Reporter, “Right out of Penn!”

Clinton, “Right out of Penn!”

Reporter, “Stole him right out of college.”

Clinton, “I know, I know. We’re so happy.”

Reporter, “Happy Labor Day!”

Clinton, “What?”

Reporter, “Happy Labor Day!”

Clinton, “Happy Labor Day! I know, it’s exactly right.”

Reporter, “Do you have a Labor Day message?”

Clinton, “Oh, I do. You’ll hear it. (Makes thumbs up gesture with right hand.) I definitely, I definitely do. If you want more happy Labor Days you know who to voter for!” (Laughter.)

Clinton waves, “Thanks. I’ll come back later. Bye!”

Hillary Clinton Has Yet Another Coughing Fit on Plane Ride from Ohio to Iowa
Earlier in the day in Cleveland when she took the stage and had barely started speaking before breaking out into perhaps the worst coughing fit she’s ever had in public, Clinton blamed it on being “allergic” to Donald Trump–the Republican nominee for president.

But now, on her plane after her second coughing fit of the day, Clinton’s story changed to that she has “seasonal allergies.”

well.. FOX had a few minutes of video. again you could not actually hear the questions -but she did some dissembling and a canned answer on Russian/N.Korean/ bad actors allowing hacking and how awful it's damaging our elections..

There was something about how Putin and Trump were buddy buddies - or Trump *hearts* Putin..
Then she said Trump wants to get out of NATO. :rolleyes:

....you didn't miss anything about this historic day of Hillary's Press access...
maybe if she can stop coughing, and get away from the droning aircraft -and took a question other then then from the traveling press corp...

I'm sure. It was goofing around. The warfarin is a big concern, but not coughing.

Why do you think she is on long term anticoagulation?

There are only a few reasons

1) atrial fibrillation
2) clotting abnormalities leading to high risk of stroke or AMI

Additionally, warfarin is a very dangerous drug
