I think the socks are funny. If he had socks that said "kill all the pigs" or "die pigs, die" then yeah get as outraged as you want. But where would you even buy socks like that?

Would the socks be as funny, if they showed a silhouette in chains; ie. referencing slavery?

The right has been trying to portray him as this dopey fool who hates the country. He was really articulate, and explained how what he's doing is about loving America, not hating it.

You can certainly disagree w/ him. But anyone who doesn't get that aspect of it is just sad, imo.

No, he doesn't. Not if you open your ears & listen.

He said he has family & friends who are cops, and that the vast majority deserve to be commended for protecting their communities. The socks were about those few rogue cops who give all the rest a bad name, and make their jobs harder.

There are black folks in this country who don't agree with how he went about this and certainly don't agree with the pigs on the socks as a positive way to get the message across.
