Maine Gov. Paul LePage said Tuesday that he is considering resigning following the release of a profanity-laced voicemail he left for a state representative last week.

The Portland Press Herald reported that LePage said he is "looking at all options" during an interview with the talk radio station WVOM in Bangor.

"I am looking at all options. I think some things I've been asked to do are beyond my ability. I'm not going to say that I'm not going to finish it. I'm not saying that I am going to finish it," LePage told the radio station. "If I've lost my ability to help Maine people, maybe it's time to move on."

Mark Burns, a surrogate for Donald Trump, apologized Monday night and again Tuesday for tweeting a cartoon of Hillary Clinton in blackface.

But he said he still stood by his message that Democrats pander to the African-American community.

“The last thing I want to do is to offend people. The tweet was not designed to anger or stir up the pot like it did. It was designed to bring how I feel, a very real reality, as to why the Democrat Party, and how I view it and how I interpret it, have been pandering and have been using black people just for their votes,” Burns said. ”The last thing I want to do is to anger people, I really am a unifier.”

"I'm going to apologize for the offensive picture that many thought was offensive, but I'm not apologizing for the message that it was carrying," Burns said.

Tuesday morning Burns apologized again via Twitter.

Sarah Palin took a fall while running over the weekend, and shared images of the bloody welt on her head on social media.

“I tripped over my own two feet and crashed & burned face-first,” the Republican wrote. "I recovered with the doc’s SuperGlue, and now any man who asks ‘what happened?’ I’ll refer to as just a mean ol’ SEXIST bully. Glad for Hillary’s protective media’s precedence. The next woman running for POTUS has no need to answer to much of anything, for we’ve got weddings to plan, and Down Dogs to do, and cookies in the oven! So just leave us alone, boys.”

Penning Donald Trump’s enthusiastic clean bill of health in five minutes may have been one of Dr. Harold Bornstein’s least consequential mistakes.

He paid $86,250 to the husband of a former patient to settle a lawsuit alleging that Bornstein overmedicated his wife with powerful, unneeded prescriptions, which contributed to her addiction—and ultimately her death.

The lawsuit is one of three malpractice claims brought against Trump’s long-time gastroenterologist since 1992, two of which allege the doctor improperly administered powerful drugs which led to the death of patients.

Bornstein has been sued for malpractice at least three times, according to state court records. Lorraine Pollifrone alleged Bornstein “improperly medicated” her husband, 57-year-old Vincent Pollifrone, causing his death during a colonoscopy. That case was settled for an unknown amount.

To paraphrase the Bard: "Nothing in his governorship would become him like the leaving of it."

Mike Pence continues to stoke worries about Democrats stealing the election from Donald Trump via mass voter fraud.

“I would tell you I think your skepticism is well-founded,” Pence told a questioner at a Georgia town hall who said she worried the election would be “rigged.”

Another questioner broached the subject of illegal immigration. The questioner referred to “anchor babies,” which she defined as a child “born to two illegals.” She incorrectly stated that only children born to two citizens are citizens under the 14th Amendment.

Pence did not correct her.

God raised up Donald Trump to be the Republican presidential nominee, Michele Bach-to-Mom said in an interview with a Christian news channel.

“I don’t think God sits things out. He’s a sovereign God. Donald Trump became our nominee. I think it’s very likely that in the day that we live in, that Donald Trump is the only individual who could win in a general election of the 17 who ran,” the former Minnesota congresswoman told CBN News.

In the interview Bach-to-Mom said even though she supported Cruz during the primaries, the Book of Daniel “teaches us that the most high God lifts up who He will and takes down who he will.”

WATCH: Trump-backing pastor busted by CNN host for lying about military service and attending college
One of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s most visible defenders has admitted that he lied about his military experience and his college background after first stating that his church website had been hacked and someone else had posted the false information.

Pastor Mark Burns has been at the forefront of pushing the candidacy of Trump with black voters, only to create more controversy by first tweeting out a cartoon of Hillary Clinton in blackface before later lashing at cable TV host, asking about her “heritage” when she asked him about the cartoon.

Pressed by CNN host Victor Blackwell, Burns first admitted that he did not graduate from North Greenville University with a Bachelor of Science degree, before taking offense at the line of questioning and stating he thought the interview was for a profile and was off the record.

“I didn’t agree to that,” Blackwell said before again pressing Burns on his bio.

“This is not fair at all,” Burns replied. “I thought we were doing a profile and all of a sudden you’re here to try to destroy my character.”

“I’m not here to destroy your character,” Blackwell replied.

As part of their investigation, CNN stated that Burns only attended the university for one semester and that his claim that he served in six years in the Army Reserve was also false, with the pastor only serving a short stint in the National Guard.

Burns later released a statement on saying he had “overstated some details” in his biography because, as a young man, he wanted to be taken seriously as a pastor starting up his new church in Greenville, South Carolina.

In his statement, Burns also said he was under attack because “I am a black man supporting Donald Trump for president.”
