And no doubt there are non-racists in the BLM movement. But the movement itself, is more racist or racialist, than the Tea Party. Unless you equate advocating smaller government and lower taxes with racism.
Even the BLM's name is racially loaded---a white group would *never* get away with a similar name. Part of the problem with race in this country is that race based double standards are institutionalized.
The problem for reasonable black folk in urban areas is they're local government has failed them. I say urban area, because there are millions of black people who aren't afflicted by poverty, gangs, violence and drugs in their neighborhoods.
Cops aren't perfect by any stretch [they never will be], but I think in many instances unreasonable expectations are placed on those who work in the troubled precincts.
BLM doesn't have the answer for it. In fact, they're counter productive.
