lol..but it would be easily done if not for US warships.
Those little patrol boats aren't all they have-they also have a few decent sized destroyers that could stop oil tankers

They have land batteries that can do a lot of damage as well..... Uncle trumpf will get those gulf states & saudi Arabians to start paying for our patrols of their shipping lanes to insure safe passage of our oil from their lands.....lol

I didn't know about the land batteries -but that makes sense.Iran has a serious land army..

In January, Iran briefly detained 10 U.S. Navy sailors who mistakenly steered into Iranian waters.


Last December, Iranian ships fired rockets near U.S. warship and other vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, and a month later flew an unarmed drone over the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf.

Empty threats from a weak nation hopefully when Trump takes office he will place a standing order to fire on any Iranian ships in or out of their territorial waters and launch a full blockade until all US hostages are released, we need a POTUS that doesn't negotiate with subhuman terrorist pedophile worshippers or pay them ransom to further fund the murder of US citizens and those of our allies and I would go one step further as to arrest any Muslim which will not condemn Hezbollah or Iran on the suspicion of treason.

they claimed armed UAV ( Unmanned Aerial Vehicles=drones), but I've never seen nor heard of any actual use.
Maybe some civilian ones for tracking/mapping..
But they are a world leader in drones -yes. Not anywhere near US capabilities -but they've had drones since the Iran/Iraq war.

Persian golf is quite different than off American shores. We have interests in the golf and bases to support, and they all lead through the straits of hormuz. Russia doesn't really have any reason, other than harassment to be by our shores. Apples to oranges.

Perhaps.. But I think we should treat them the way we want to be treated......

We are thousands of miles away, they live there, they have interests as well, do they have the right to have interests like we do??
