Bill, I'm curious your thoughts here especially because you live here. You were talking about racism against poor people earlier. These climate laws Brown is about to sign will increase the cost of energy and make living in our state even more expensive. That if course hurts minorities the most.

Even if well intentioned do you think these bills are racist for having that affect?

#1. Expecting factual objectivity from the WSJ on Climate change is like expecting Santa to bring you a Corvette for Christmas.

#2. As a professional in the environmental field it is standard knowledge in the industry that when it comes to environmental laws Califonians are fucking crazy.

Mott, this article is about the laws California is passing. This is not an op-Ed opinion article. Where is the bias here?

Meh....you know as well as I do that the WSJ has a less than steller reputation about bias when it comes to environmental issues.

But it should make you feel better that when it does come to California environmental law I think ya'll are nuts! ;)

Maybe it is your own bias coming through.

Oregon is phasing out coal yet doesn't have enough wind turbines to replace them even if it were reliable. I am sure it will be Bush's fault when it fails
