You cut her quote short, why is that? She is correct, religious bias should have no say in our laws concerning women's healthcare issues. Women have the right to make decisions based on their own consciences with medical advice from their doctors and not based on others beliefs.

People really abandon logic when it comes to religion. Not only has it been re-written countless times, but it was generally re-written by the medieval church, a bastion of corruption & deceipt.

The Bible (as well as other religious texts) are great sources of history & insight into the ancient world, but they are not reliable guides for spirituality, and certainly not for politics.

Actually, an isn't scrolls and text show that even with translation, the Bible is highly accurate as to the very early editions.

The overall message of the Bible has not been corrupted. If you want to hang your hat on a religious book being perfect because of no translation errors or such, you should become Muslim.
