This is a tough one for cons to wrap their heads around. Destroy ISIS but don't use drones. Kill all Muslims but don't use drones. Support every hawkish policy but don't use drones.
Who is this for? Most of us are very aware of his drone problem. I still write him emails about it. I also remember our soldiers on foreign soil, especially those who face hostilities.

Guantanamo is still open, the US is still meddling militarily in the affairs of other nations with deadly consequences.
I was referring to JPP cons, not you. And I have never supported drones either.

I suspect that JPP cons say "Kill 'em all and let God sort it out".
That kind of thinking is what leads to attacks against us.
I've never understood why cons think it's OK to kill brown people in their own country and cry about it when they hit back the only way they can.

Obama has disappointed on few issues. This being one of them.
It is still preferable to "boots on the ground" if anything must be done to keep the chicken hawks at bay.
I believe congress has his hands tied on Guantanamo.

what's the alternative to drones? dead is dead. blown up is blown up.
If you use airstrikes you have to be there when the target acquisition takes place. Drones loiter and are used when the target is exposed.
Drones should not be used for days/weeks over the same target - that terrifies the populace .
Use them when the target is confirmed -no "signature strikes".
( and it would be good to capture some of these where possible - but closing Gitmo means more drone deaths)

Facts are facts, Brother Leon. He is sending more US troops into the Middle East and has actually expanded the drone attacks.
Yes we want to kill all Muslims. :roll: You can't hold territory with drones and Daesh will fight from the rubble, we spent 95 lives to take Fallujah for Obama to hand it right back along with Mosul and now Fallujah is no more after this administration laughable claimed to have retaken it.

We have no claim to any foreign soil.
