Hillary didn't get a convention bump.

Oh, so now only a week matters? All the time before the RNC convention doesn't matter? She is not even back up to mid-July polls. But if you really want to say that she got a bounce from her drop due to the RNC, okay. But that really isn't honest, is it? A bounce or bump takes you higher than you have been, not just a week before the convention.

I simply answered your question!

I simply answered your question!

She does down during the RNC and then goes back up to where she was prior to that and you call that a convention bump and not a rebound?

Wow, you guys are really desperate playing semantics like this.

Trump has dipped from a +0.2 average to a -4.4 average on RCP over the past week. Wait another week to see what's up, with the conventions in the rearview mirror at that point.

RCP uses a 30 day post convention poll follow up. I think Clinton had one of the highest 30 day bumps, at least in modern history.

The first real meaningful polls came out this week, its important how you come out of the conventions. I agree however, next week will be more meaningful, if HRC's numbers don't fade she will be in a great position going forward. The Kahn controversy will play a part in the upcoming numbers, we should see what effect that has on Trump, its possible he will drop even more.

On the other hand the numbers could come to more of an equilibrium.

We shall see.

And where is the graph for your one poll? Bet it would show no bump and u bet you will never post it.

Oh NO!!

I don't have a "graph" to go along with the numbers I presented, and that's a problem for the YurtHawk.

You asked a question.

Jarod answered.

However, since you didn't like his answer, right on cue you get all butthurt.

If you want to whine about not showing a graph, then show her numbers for the month preceding so I can laugh in your face that she isn't higher.

Ha ha.

Oh yeah, whining about how her numbers from a month ago matter is an easy way to ignore the truth:

Election Update: Trump’s Slump Deepens In The Polls

Still waiting for you to admit you were wrong about the RCP poll being "one" poll and not an average of many polls.

The graph is important because it shows she is merely back where she was preconvention, something you want to ignore.

She is almost right back where she was preconventions. So Trump sunk her and then when it was her turn, she simply went back to where she almost was.

That is not a bump, it is at best a rebound and when viewed as a whole, she is still less than she was prior to the convention.
Define bump.

If you define it as her total polling numbers you are correct. Not much of a bump there. If you define it as an increase in her lead over her opponents polling numbers she's had a substantial post convention bump.

The real post convention bump winner appears to be Gary Johnson as it appears about 10% of Trump supporters have abandoned Trump for Johnson. Though I'd probably call winning the actual election as being just a tad more significant...so it appears that Clinton is the real winner. Doesn't it?

I understand post convention bumps to be where your numbers are higher than previous pollings.

She went down during the pub convention, then naturally went back up during hers and really, her rise was probably due more to Trump being a retard than her convention.
