Khan shuts down his website

What do you consider biased?

If Trump wanted to ban Christians for awhile...how would the reaction be to that one?

If I was a Christian in another country and a significant number of my fellow religionists were trying to kill as many people in my adopted country as possible---I would WANT someone to stop them from entering. By whatever means necessary.

Probably not the answer you were looking for.

It actually was. Because I think you're full of shite, anyway - and that proves it.

the thing that puzzles me most is why liberals seem to think its a terrible thing to make sure that people aren't entering the country to commit a terrorist attack before we let them in......I guess trying to protect ourselves is now bigotry.......

I know how bad you want it to be about Trump--who I criticized.

It happens that Khan and the DNC are the other side of the same coin. Could they not find a Gold Star Muslim family that didn't have a stake in Muslim immigration?

Did they really think no one would check Khans background?

Maybe it was flooded with hate comments by Islam bashers. Maybe he was getting threats.

He may not be a politician but he used the occasion of honoring his son, at a political convention, to make a political statement: an attack on Trumps immigration policy.

That makes him fair game.

Nobody said anything like that about the Benghazi mom. Her loss was honored, Khan's loss was desecrated.

I am sorry to see how his job affects what he said about his son and Donald Trump, like Thing said, you are like Trump.

Rana, and YOU are Obviously like the ardent follower of BOTH the LIARS, FRAUDS, BLACK RACISTS and COMMIE/MUSLIM SUPPORTERS OBUMSKY and KILLARY.

Trumps comments about Khan's wife not saying anything and musing she might not be allowed to say anything, was just the truth....

Its amazing how the libs manufactured that simple comment into an attack and the toll its taken on Trump.....its genius....its how the big leagues play politics

and Trump is in the minor leagues at best.....

Now its how he said "if I don't win, the election is rigged"....which is a total lie but watch this grow into a crisis the same way.....

How Trump said "All Muslims should not be allowed in the country".....another lie, one of omission....leaving out the part about "until see can figure out whats going on"....

another stoke of genius by the Democrats.....Trumps learning what big league politics is all about...ie......its not how you play the game, its only about winning.....

What a dopey thing to say. Mrs. Khan spoke in an op-ed and these are the best words, not Trump's stupid words.

"Donald Trump has asked why I did not speak at the Democratic convention. He said he would like to hear from me. Here is my answer to Donald Trump: Because without saying a thing, all the world, all America, felt my pain. I am a Gold Star mother. Whoever saw me felt me in their heart.

Donald Trump said I had nothing to say. I do. My son Humayun Khan, an Army captain, died 12 years ago in Iraq. He loved America, where we moved when he was 2 years old. He had volunteered to help his country, signing up for the ROTC at the University of Virginia. This was before the attack of Sept. 11, 2001. He didn’t have to do this, but he wanted to. When Humayun was sent to Iraq, my husband and I worried about his safety. I had already been through one war, in Pakistan in 1965, when I was just a high school student. So I was very scared. You can sacrifice yourself, but you cannot take it that your kids will do this. We asked if there was some way he could not go, because he had already done his service. He said it was his duty. I cannot forget when he was going to the plane, and he looked back at me. He was happy, and giving me strength: “Don’t worry, Mom. Everything will be all right.”

The last time I spoke to my son was on Mother’s Day 2004. We had asked him to call us collect whenever he could. I begged him to be safe. I asked him to stay back, and not to go running around trying to become a hero, because I knew he would do something like that. He said, “Mom, these are my soldiers, these are my people. I have to take care of them.” He was killed by a car bomber outside the gates of his base. He died trying to save his soldiers and innocent civilians.

That is my son. Humayun was always dependable. If I was vacuuming the house and he was home, he would take the vacuum from my hand and clean the house. He volunteered to teach disabled children in the hospital how to swim. He said, “I love when they have a little bit of progress and their faces, they light up. At least they are that much happy.” He wanted to be a lawyer, like his father, to help people. Humayun is my middle son, and the others are doing so well, but every day I feel the pain of his loss. It has been 12 years, but you know hearts of pain can never heal as long as we live. Just talking about it is hard for me all the time. Every day, whenever I pray, I have to pray for him, and I cry. The place that emptied will always be empty.

I cannot walk into a room with pictures of Humayun. For all these years, I haven’t been able to clean the closet where his things are — I had to ask my daughter-in-law to do it. Walking onto the convention stage, with a huge picture of my son behind me, I could hardly control myself. What mother could? Donald Trump has children whom he loves. Does he really need to wonder why I did not speak?

Donald Trump said that maybe I wasn’t allowed to say anything. That is not true. My husband asked me if I wanted to speak, but I told him I could not. My religion teaches me that all human beings are equal in God’s eyes. Husband and wife are part of each other; you should love and respect each other so you can take care of the family.

When Donald Trump is talking about Islam, he is ignorant. If he studied the real Islam and Koran, all the ideas he gets from terrorists would change, because terrorism is a different religion.
Donald Trump said he has made a lot of sacrifices. He doesn’t know what the word sacrifice means.

Well Mott, maybe you're not up to speed lol.

Khan does work with EB5 visas and there's significant money in them---and green cards. That spells conflict of interest in big neon lights.

Khan brought this on himself by going after Trump on immigration. He could have simply extolled the virtues of Hillary.

Conflict of interest for what? Khan's not running for office.

Well, you're the second person to try the technicality angle.

Let's say there's sufficient reason to suspect he has an economic reason to see that Trump is defeated.

OIC. The conspiracy theory that he's going to rake in money from illegal immigrants... based on a program created during the G. H. W. Bush administration. Man, how shady is that.

EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program

USCIS administers the EB-5 Program. Under this program, entrepreneurs (and their spouses and unmarried children under 21) are eligible to apply for a green card (permanent residence) if they:

  • Make the necessary investment in a commercial enterprise in the United States; and
  • Plan to create or preserve 10 permanent full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers.
This program is known as EB-5 for the name of the employment-based fifth preference visa that participants receive.

Congress created the EB-5 Program in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. In 1992, Congress created the Immigrant Investor Program, also known as the Regional Center Program. This sets aside EB-5 visas for participants who invest in commercial enterprises associated with regional centers approved by USCIS based on proposals for promoting economic growth.
