Clinton up 52% to 43% over Trump in new CNN poll.

And I'm not posting this to "brag" about the polls. I know these don't mean much right now. But the convention bounce that you get IS a direct result of the convention itself, and the Dems so far are getting a much better bump out of theirs.

A lot of posters here were calling it a disaster & saying that people would mainly remember the boos (which I hardly heard). It was one of the better, more well-orchestrated conventions I've seen in my lifetime. I knew that they'd get a big bump.
 
I didn't see many people calling it a disaster. Anyone calling the DNC convention a flop doesn't know politics. It was obviously an effective convention. I hate hillary and even I knew that.
 
Trump didn't get a "huge" bump from the GOP convention. It was pretty small.

And pretty much every JPP rightie here called the Dem convention a flop or said it was all about the boos. That's mainly who I was speaking to. National conservatives recognized it as a success.
 
So basically she is where she started before the conventions.

I just read more on the poll - it shows that 91% of Sanders supporters now plan to vote for Hillary. And it's only August.

But the boos! And the protests!

as I recall I watched her average lead drop from about a seven point lead to five to three to two to a tie to down by 1.9......you said it wasn't much of a bump and it should have been double digits.....I'm sure you're right and she should have that average up to at least 8.9 soon proving you were correct......

no you are wrong. he got a 9pt swing in some spots. He caught up in a lot of state polls. nate silver had him with a 57% chance of winning for the first time ever.
