Does Bill have dementia?

Oh I can help you more. Get a perfume dispenser with the little rubber ball and fill it with Vermouth. When you order your martini request the bartender bring you a chilled martini glass and used the perfume dispenser to spray the inside of the glass with just enough vermouth the cover the glass. Then order a dessert dry martini.

It will impress and your rise in the ranks of the CoC will be spectacular.

I belong to a couple of chambers and I've never seen anyone to this. I've no doubt it would cause quite a scene if a man whipped out his perfume bottle and sprayed his martini glass though. I only hope Cawacko will film this for us.

She wouldn't get 65 cents if her last name wasn't Clinton.
You're assuming anyone has ever hired her to speak at $65K. Just because that's her going rate doesn't mean she gets it. She may charge that much for the same reason I do. So no one will ask her too!

Not really. That's what I charge and I"m a terrible public speakers. Lots of "uhms" and "ahs" and stuttering.

But you're from Ohio. People are just in awe of your awesomeness so your words and mannerisms don't really matter. She doesn't have that luxury.

Was just reading Chelsea gets $65K a speech. First off, congrats to her. After watching her on stage if her other speeches are anything like that you couldn't pay me to watch her give a speech. Dear lord that was painful.

Takes after her mother.

I think it does prove my point, I just think you don't know what my point was!

My point was that win lose or draw, a woman always has to soothe the men! She can't act like this! She can't act like Bernie btw. Keith Olbermann said that Hillary should be brought into a shed and beaten back in 08, because she didn't concede fast enough for his liking! Imagine what he would be saying if she behaved the way Bernie did this year? I've no doubt Ted Kennedy did act the asshole and didn't care about the party, he was a man wasn't he!
Load of crap. Did you feel Barry was soothing Hillary when he appointed her SoS?

I'd have no problem with her appointing him to dept of education or whatever, that would get him out of the Senate and that suits me fine.

I reject the idea that Obama asked her to be SOS as a "reward". I believe him when he said he grew to respect her a great deal during the campaign and then afterwards. I don't believe it was a reward.
So why couldn't that be the same with Bernie? Look, politics is a quid pro quo business. I'm reasonably sure that for her supporting Barry he was willing offer her a position on his cabinet on a quid pro quo basis. Just as she will probably offer Bernie a position on a quid pro quo basis for his support.

Indeed. It was at a CoC meeting here on Cowtown where I first saw a businessman do that. He was a real prissy germaphobe type but it did indeed impress. I hope he takes my advise and films it too.

First of all, honestly Mott, I don't call President Obama "Barry".

Secondly, this is the third time I'm telling you I don't believe it was quid pro quo at all.

Lastly, you are diverting attention from what the original subject was. It's not about what Bernie "gets", I was discussing the difference in his behavior and demeanor, and Hillary's, at the same point in time. What happens in the future really doesn't have anything to do with that.

I don't think he's getting a cabinet position, but I will agree that if Hillary decides it benefits her to get him out of the Senate, then he'll get one. We'll see what happens.

I appreciate the compliment but it would be more accurate to say "But you're from Ohio, when you speak it's an instant cure for insomnia.". I have the dreaded Midwestern monotone when I speak.

Why not? That's how he was known until he got into politics and ran for office.

It's not of point. You're making a mountain out of a mole hill. Bernie has already be far more helpful than he has needed to be. He could have simply just not shown up or, as with Reagan and Kennedy and Cruz, been a divisive force.

I mean I don't get it. Why the purity ball in terms of Sanders? Politics is all about building coalitions. That's a big part of what makes it ugly.

We disagree.

I didn't know him before he got into politics. I would never refer to him that way because I have never ever known him as Barry, and I have noted that people who disrespect him call him that.
Have you read his book? He never went by "Barack" until after he graduated from Harvard.

Kind of like my brother. He had a real gay first name. "Lonnie". So he went by his middle name "Todd" which was almost as gay as Lonnie but what's a guy gonna do? But in his professional life he always went by "Lonnie" which I though was strange cause in his private personal life he always hated being called "Lonnie".
