That's not a surprise. He said progressive policies don't necessitate bigger government. I specifically asked him about 4 things ("free" college plan, single payer, national paid sick/family leave, and increased minimum wage) and whether or not they were progressive. He said yes to each one. Funny, and sad, thing is that each one of them involved bigger and bigger government.
