Remember when?

Remember when they claimed if Obamacare passed it would be the end of America?

Remember when they claimed if Obame were reelected it would be the end of America?

Now they say if HRC is elected it will be the end of America!
I remember that. I also "remember" people saying the like about brexit and a Trump presidency.

Now that is an appropriate use of question marks, Ken.

I knew you could do it!

Remember when Obamacare could be accomplished without an individual mandate, despite what candidates Hillary and Edward's insisted?

That it would be so awesome and reduce costs so much people would want to buy it?

Remember when employee provided health insurance wouldn't have to be taxed, despite what candidate McCain said?

Remember that it would reduce costs an average of $2400 per family?

Remember that it was a "jobs bill" that would create oodles of new good paying jobs?

Remember that if you liked the policy you currently have you could keep it?

Remember that if you like your doctor you could keep your doctor?

I do.

I do too, Officer.

The one I remember is the stimulus.

That was going to be the end. We were going to still be in a Depression right now because of that.

I remember when the Obama administration claimed unemployment would never rise above 8% if the $767 billion (actually $862 billion in the end) was passed. In case you can't add and do math, that $95 billion dollar mistake amounts to an overrun of 12.4%. As we both KNOW, the unemployment rate went to double digits. You don't remember?

I remember the claims made by the Obama administration about the stimulus. What was proposed as $787 billion but actually ended up being $862 billion was supposed to keep unemployment below 8%. We both KNOW it didn't.

That's right. I had forgotten about that very poor prediction. Of course the idea that the central gov't could allocate funds to their desired political interest groups and think it would have excellent economic impacts is a messed up Keynesian one.
