Their lawyers say they shouldn't be doing it but instead of heeding their advice and not doing it, they just decide to not publicize it.

This is why Trump is doing as well as he is. People now see how corrupt our government is and Crooked Hillary is the poster child.


I want every democrat on JPP to be able to respond so I am lifting my thread ban restrictions. Come one come all. Defend these practices. And please try to do something better than start off with "Yeah but Fox News or yeah but Rush Limbaugh". I expect more out of you
 
I hope to an extent we are all democratic, but there are very few Democrats on this forum. Desh hasn't been around in a few days.

For those of us who have been paying attention for the last 20 years, this is not surprising. That is getting publicized on such a large scale is monumental. The main stream media has lost its grip on being a monopoly of information like they once were with Cronkite manipulating the news.

It all started with Limbaugh and Fox News. Now there is a democracy in information that the elites can't figure out how to get ahold of. They are losing their grip and it freaks them out. JPP lefties don't realize it, but leftists have taken over Fox News. It has been a subtle change, but a change nonetheless over the last few years. It serves as a useful foil for the lefties, but has lost its conservative edge. Rupert Murdoch is a lefty. Always has been. Has cozied up with Crooked Hillary for years and years.

My guess is that the left will ignore this, we can already tell by Rancid's tepid response. But, it unfortunately it will only shore up Trump

Why should I care about the inner workings of the DNC? I do not support any party, I vote for the candidate that I feel best represents my positions. I think there is a lot of corruption in both parties.

I am far more concerned about Russia's connection in this.

I am interested in hearing what you lefties have to say about democrat party corruption. I don't recall ever saying I am a bipartisan watchdog. That is a non sequitur.

If you are afraid to address the OP because you haven't gotten left wing talking points then just say so. It would appear that the left wing spin on this is that "Russia hacked these emails and released them to get Trump elected". That is why Darla started her Russian thread. Of course there is ZERO proof that Russia hacked the emails.

And even if it were true, does that negate the illegality of what the DNC did?

Or are you going to take the Rana line and claim "I belong to no party"? That is a good one

I wish you guys wouldn't pretend like you're not as partisan as most here are.

To ILA - honestly, I don't care a heck of a lot about stuff like this. The only thing I can ever remember "demanding" an investigation on was the Iraq War & the way intel was manipulated.

I do think it's an embarrassment for the party, and it's a horrible way for them to start off convention week. I would imagine there will be some sort of investigation. I just don't care that much about it.

The thing is your positions are right in line with Democrats. That tells the rest of us you do support the party whether you admit it or not.

The sad part is it will be an investigation along the lines of asking a fox if he raided the hen house then simply taking his word when he says no.

I have voted for many people who aren't Democrat, from local to Presidential. You may roll about on the floor, but you don't know what you are talking about.

What's surprising is how unsurprising the email revelations are. We always knew DC is corrupt and Hillary is an exemplar of it.

But people will still vote for her.
