She did a good job, she tried to add a little humanness to Trump. She spoke well, she had a good message for the base.
 
Funny to read about how many Democrats in the Senate she has backed financially. Her talk on women's pay could be almost verbatim what Hillary will say. The Trump's are Democrats.

She was good though. She's an impressive women/mother.

The things I have read about her, she is liked. They are changing a lot of ideas here tonight, the thing is, by embracing the LGBT community, they may have lost a portion of their vote, but maybe gained a few as well.

I'm waiting to see how the donald proposes to employ all the black youth in the inner cities, rebuild our national infrastructure, make sure every American has full health coverage, equalize wages by gender and marital considerations and so much more that he promises and do so within the oversight of traditional Republicans.

I hope she stole Hillarys speech word for word. Then Hillary has the shoe on her foot. Will the leftist media report the plagiarism though? Of course not.

It is incredible that you would think that she would plagiarize from Ivanka is douche nozzle material. Hillary and her speech writers have no need to plagiarize Ivanka's speech.

depends on whether it helps the country. I think that some things the federal govt does better but some things like minimum wage the federal govt has no business touching.

If Trump is not a stooge to get Hillary in the office, perhaps this is it. From what I have read about him and Ivanka, they have no problem with gay rights or transgender. I believe he invited Jenner to use his bathrooms in one of his buildings.

If Trump is actually running to destroy the religious right and bring the republican party back to the mainstream, then he may just pull this off. Perhaps his anti muslim and fence talk BS is just to get the base to vote for him and then he can get rid of the religious stuff and focus on republicans being about fiscal responsibility and social liberty.

I still can't stand the guy, but I have never seen nor read about an election like this.

I loved this Nicole Wallace comment post Trump speech: "The Republican Party that I worked for for two decades died in this room tonight."

I thought it was a dark and depressing speech. Yes Obama has been a very bad President but America is still the greatest country in the world. Part of what so attracted me to Reagan was his sense of optimism. Trump just spent an hour shouting how awful everything is America is. I mean for a split second while listening to Ivanka describe him I had the best thoughts I've had about him. That quickly went down the drain.

I would NEVER vote for Hillary and I am not a Democrat but it is a depressing feeling to see party you've been a member of your entire life completely change in front of you. I feel very depressed right now (politically).

Trump the populist.
If you like the current state of affairs, then keep the establishment.

But if you think politics are corrupt, taxes and regulation strangle business opportunities -and the current bunch in DC
are on auto-pilot in terms of looking out for US interests first -then Trump has made the case he's the agent of change.

( what is "catch and release" at the border anyhow?)
