wow..I just read this..that's about the nicest thing anyone has said to me regarding politics in the 50+ years I've followed politics.
I can and will say the very same thing of you, right back to you.

It's the willingness to work across party lines, where even the disagreement are fierce that determine the success of our politics.

I burnt a few flags during Vietnam..I was young and the war was madness on a scale never seen since then
Many of my slightly older friends went to war an literally never came back. They ceased to exist.
You didn't see them die- there was just holes of their life -things the younger brothers had to go thru...

Anyways...we are very close in age, and our experiences may have crossed.

Cawacko, I am not supposedly a new poster. I am an old, very lame poster, that has never, ever, posted here before, at least not more than my stats say I have. I have been a mod on many sites, from hacking TV, ecigs, dope growing, brewing, distilling, and many more that I have forgotten, but I do know your type. You are unwelcoming, hostile, and even possibly evil. And I oppose you with every fiber of my being. If you see every new poster as a threat, then that is on you. Good luck with this site. If you can't handle someone who gives a shit, then fuck off.

Ever since I joined many posters have tried to run me off. Someone said I was Legion, Cawacko immediately believed them and so he bans me from his threads because he thinks I'm Legion. Then someone said I am Yurt, so now over half the board hates me solely because of some former poster. This board treats new posters like shit. I nearly left, but after a PM I decided to stick it out, but no matter what I do, I am judged based on some former poster. Even Thing whom I got along well with, now hates me and can't hold a decent conversation with me because he thinks I'm some former poster.

Weirdest site ever, especially weird because it is so small. I would think a board like this would be more welcoming.

I'm sticking around for now and think you should too. Small boards can be nice and not as boggling as big boards which I find can be hard to follow. Oh and not everyone here is bad, I like Rana, and a few other posters.
