Lyin' Ted steals Wednesday

Oh please, I can't stand Cruz. He's your dirty laundry, not mine.

He may be a habitual loser, but check your history cause a lot of our Presidents lost before they came back and won.

I am just pointing out that all the people claiming they know what exactly Cruz did last night, really don't. Not yet.

Yet....you are counting on this person you hate to divide the opposition party. The question is.....is your candidate not strong enough to win on his/her own? If not why not? Ain't logic a hell of a thing? That is if you have any cognation toward reasoned and logical thought....instead of simply depending upon and limiting your thought process to EMOTION and insane HOPE. Of course that is what defines leftist liberalism.....hatred, emotion and insane thought.....void of logic and reason. Yet...even when these traits are apparently vivid...some claim to be something other than what their actions demonstrate them to be.....

I get it...its clear now. You hope that CRUZ (the loser) somehow wins and divides the party....after he has just recently demonstrated a propensity toward LOSING. Logical as hell. But there is no EMOTION demonstrated in this INSANE thought pattern. Really?

This is like watching a TRAIN WRECK in slow motion.....as this nation "implodes" with socialized hatred.

What are you talking about? I'm not counting on anything. You people are putting on a show and I'm enjoying it. Boy everything is the liberals' fault huh!! Even Ted Cruz! You people have no personal responsibility.

Right....you just post your NON counting on anythings. Got it! :palm: You can say WHAT YOU WANT....but you can't hide from the actions your ID invokes. Sure you don't need some POPCORN? Clam down...take a deep breath....:)

I was just coming here to post about this! Do you believe this shit? The drama, omg. I am still laughing picturing the faces of Trump's son and I think his wife, the son was shaking with rage. Then Trump walks in WWE style, holy shit. Cruz booed of the stage. Ivanka, well after getting a look at that face tonight you know you do not want to turn your back on her if you are Ted Cruz.

I have never seen anything like this, this is without a doubt the most entertaining convention I have ever seen. I mean, it's not a political convention of course. It's something between a lynch mob, a WWE match and the real housewives of NJ, but it's awesome.
I missed it. I fell asleep during one of the preliminary speeches.

Missing the mark as usual. This helped solidify conservative support behind trump. A lot of former Cruz supporters are disgusted with him now, the guy that managed his campaign in Indiana says he regrets supporting Cruz. Other conservatives and even big cruz supporters are calling it political suicide. CNN just did a poll of undecideds and none of them liked what Cruz did. People feel Cruz should have stuck by his pledge or not showed up at all. He took conservatives that were meh on Trump and finally gave them a reason to feel sympathetic to Trump. Cruz pissed his own anti-establishment conservative contingent off and have firmly pushed them into trump's corner.

Trump also apparently knew that Cruz did not plan to endorse him. Trump knew that but still let him make his speech.

The party largely came together tonight, thanks to Ted Cruz.
oh I agree that Cruz has shot himself in the foot and that a smaller Republican Party has united behind its candidate.

thing1 I am going to make an effort to not just outright dismiss your view points even though I think you are biased af. I'm going to try and give you the benefit of the doubt.

You are reasonably polite on here so I'll try to respond in kind to you.

I might crack after a day though, we'll see O_O
Dont listen to him Grind. You actually opined on something other than gun control, Zimmerman, executing first graders and eating at Taco Bell.

I'm proud of you. :)

I think this discussion of convention disunity and chaos is a bit premature with the number of "Goldman-Sachs Hillary" hating Bernie loyalists on the floor and everywhere next week.

First day of the convention is forecast to be 99 wonderful Philly degrees . . . let's hope the air-conditioning is up for the job.

That's the easy wisdom now, and could end up being true.

Cruz placed his bets. His money is on Trump not only losing in nov, but going down so big and bad electorally that the party must have a come to jesus moment.

How's Cruz gonna look then?

That's when we'll know. We don't know today. Anybody who claims they do is a liar or a fool. Plenty of those here.
Cruz gamble is that the nation would then choose a far right wing ideologue. He's misreading the public terribly.

Well if it does end up being the political end of Cruz, I'm not crying.
