It was close enough to plagiarism that it would get you in trouble in writing class. Though in fairness, what was plagiarized bordered on cliche or boilerplate: it wasn't like Melania borrowed some novel bit of prose without footnoting it.

But Hillary's hack's biggest problem is Biden and Obama both did it. Biden did it twice I believe.

So basically, their partisan outrage lacks any credibility.

That doesn't make sense to me, that women are voting based on the age of the candidate.

There was plenty of outrage when Obama did it. Cons also pointed to Biden at the same time.

Which is why Reince Priebus, Trump's former campaign manager and about a dozen conservatives on Fox & CNN essentially recommended firing the speechwriter last night & today.

Just a bunch of "partisan outrage," I guess.

This board has been a blast today. Best day ever.

I think it's more like younger women percieve Hillary's brand of feminism to be dated. I get the idea they wish they could vote for someone like Meliana Trump. A successful woman in her own right; yet able to maintain a traditional role in supporting her husband.

Sans all the Ms. Business lol.
 
Hillary doesn't have a problem. There is no outrage.

This is a Trump family and Trump campaign problem. They have either allowed his wife to humiliate herself, or allowed someone to humiliate her. The rest of us are just enjoying the show.

Now you've got the old perv Tom, and this new guy Darth, (age range please dude, another dirty old daddy?) letting us know that they just "get the feeling" or "know" that young women today want to be good at their jobs while taking good traditional care of their dirty daddies at home.

That is just it, if they pushed the narrative that she wrote the speech, then it makes her look the fool, if they push the narrative that she didn't write the speech, then it makes her a liar, either way it isn't good.
That is why they are denying that someone borrowed from Michelle's speech.

I wasn't thinking feminism. We're not electing the president of NOW. It's about having core values and acting on them. It's about studying each candidate's position on the issues and choosing one who aligns with yours the most. I would never vote for Fiorina, Palin or Bachmann just because they're women. Nor would I ever vote for Trump, who to my mind is the most misogynistic candidate ever.

I would absolutely vote for the right woman but Hillary ain't it. It seems younger women agree with me.
