Back in Iraq to Stay This Time

I guess the fighters in the Middle East didn't get a Bush Action Man doll to play with like you did, Lapdoggy.

I'm actually not a huge fan of Bush II---mostly because he might as well been a liberal as far as spending went. And he never should have gotten us involved in Iraq; but, he realized what was at stake once we were there.

The present administration is clueless.

Unlike when cons play general, and we get into stupid wars to begin with, and then make stupid decisions like disbanding the Iraq army, that extend that war for years?

Unlike those times?

Couldn't control the army. Years as opposed to decades ?
Quit while you're behind.

Disbanding the Iraqi army was one of the worst foreign policy decisions of modern times. Added many years to the war.

And you supported the original invasion. That basically disqualifies you from ANY conversation on foreign policy. Ever.

Um, no, that is backlash to droning innocent people twatana.
You are one stupid fucker.

Nah, you need to educate yourself instead of regurgitating talking points. Not only is regurgitating messy, it's puts a strain on your esophagus.

Historically, Islam has a long track record of conquest---going back to its inception. Groups like ISIS make appeals to that history in sermons and their recruitment rhetoric. All you need to do is listen to them and they will tell you why they do what they do.

ISIS's objective is to spread their version of Islam. Period. Now, are they pissed because the infidel crusaders invaded Iraq and soiled their land or whatever? Of course they are. But even had we not invaded Iraq, their religious doctrine *compells them* to attack the filthy infidel.

ISIS threatens Europe because they can get there relatively easily. Period. We should be thankful they have to cross an ocean to get here. ISIS has killed countless Middle East Christians that had nothing to do with invading Iraq because they aren't Muslims and their religious doctrine *compelled them* to. Period.

Educate yourself about radical Islam instead of spouting idiotic talking points.

the Mosul speech/sermon mentions "crusaders" quite a bit- I think that is generalized, and not just Iraq?

yeppers. It's about 3 pages of transcripts, and it's a "manifesto" of exactly that.
