California gang members charged in attacks targeting blacks

Los Angeles (AFP) - Seven members of a notorious Los Angeles street gang with ties to the Mexican Mafia were charged in an indictment unsealed Thursday for their role in attacks targeting African-Americans.

The men, all members of the Big Hazard gang, allegedly took part in the 2014 firebombing of several residences of African-Americans in the city's Boyle Heights neighborhood in a bid to push blacks out, according to the indictment handed down June 22.

"The defendants used firebombs to drive the victims from their homes because of their race," said Vanita Gupta, head of the Justice Department's civil rights division. "This is a hate crime.

"Such violence and intimidation have no place in our society."

Authorities said the attacks were spurred by the gang's bid to reclaim control of the neighborhood's Ramona Gardens housing project, once a bleak crime-infested area where the police dared enter only in groups.

I expected more from such a culturally rich group of fine young democrat, and future democrat, voters.

If this was the KKK or some such white gang, the liberals would care. Since it is not, they don't care and have no outrage.

See, she just proved my point. If this was the KKK or Aryan brotherhood, she would not make such a snide comment. She would blast the racists. But since they are not white, she thinks it is funny.

Latinos are higher than blacks in the Democrat Hierarchy of Victimization

I predict our resident dems will laugh and deflect on this issue to give the mexican gang a pass.

I don't agree with your hierarchy scheme, but I have yet to see one liberal get outraged over a white death. Sure, they give their condolences, and remark and how "tragic" this is, but no outrage, nothing about race stuff, just ho hum.

This made me laugh. I'll never forget one of my mom's lady friends (one of the funniest women I've ever met) came up to me and said, "you'll still single because you're just waiting to meet a woman who can suck the chrome off the front of a Mercedes aren't you?" My knees buckled I was in such shock. I was dying.

whites are at the very bottom of the democrat hierarchy of victimization which is why they dont care about white deaths. Its

1. Muslims
2. Gays
3. Latinos
4. Blacks
5. White Female
6. White Male
