Comey: ‘No reasonable prosecutor’ would have charged Clinton under ‘gross negligence’

I head him say "yes" several times.....did you hear him say "maybe"?......
I thought so.I watched the news last night.
I’m a lawyer specializing in security clearance cases. Hillary Clinton got off easy.
My legal practice involves representing clients denied or at risk of losing their security clearances. Facing the same set of facts outlined by FBI Director James B. Comey about Hillary Clinton and her aides, my less-well-known clients — whether an entry-level government contractor or a GS-14 federal employee — would be in serious jeopardy of losing their security clearances. In fact, I cannot foresee a situation in which an ordinary employee facing such allegations would be able to keep a security clearance with the types of concerns raised in the FBI findings.

same old crap as he other day. He can't find precedent despite the fact there was at least one last year.
He does not dispute "extreme carelessness" = gross negligence..

Why is a FBI guy making legal decisions of this fine a point?

Because he's a lawyer and that's what they do.

prosecutor/judge and jury rolled into one. I respect his decision and Comey himself - but that is just too much centralized power.
He absolutely missed precedent (and is that an actual need?) having more then 1 mind to investigate and then decide to prosecute
is a much better way

There were other agents working on the case, and you can bet he consulted a lot of people because he understood the seriousness of this investigation. He didn't come to his decision alone.

it's still FBI if he did consult. I bet nothing but it's very possible.
But then again if it went to Lynch nothing would have changed.
He did a good job of ferreting out her lies and concealment, along with her "recklessness" - so that's going to have to be the bottom line

I see no proof she intentionally lied, therein lies the crux of the matter, intention.

She didn't lie, it was what she believed to be the truth at the time.

It wasn't my decision, it was the decision of the FBI and the DoJ. I don't think either of those are Clintonistas. The Republicans were the ones who forced Lynch's hand and made her announce that she would accept the decision of the FBI and as Comey showed, he showed no special favor to Clinton.

So, she's just an idiot, then?

I meant her lies to the American people" 1 device for convenience" etc. Her cover up is as bad / worse then the Emails themselves

Yes, to all Hillary haters this is worse than all the emails that the Bush administration never turned over the the government and they were sent to a private server, so spare me the false outrage over this.

[FONT=franklin_gothic_fsbook]In 2007, when Congress asked the Bush administration for emails surrounding the firing of eights U.S. attorneys, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales revealed that many of the emails requested could not be produced because they were sent on a non-government email server. The officials had used the private domain gwb43.com, a server run by the Republican National Committee. Two years later, it was revealed that potentially 22 million emails were deleted, which was considered by some to be a violation of the Presidential Records Act.

bald face lies to the American public while in the spotlight don't bother you? Did the Bush adm us only the RNC server?. was this a one time event or a pattern of concealment?

They would if all bald faced lies were treated the same, but sadly, they aren't. See, you, yourself, show no dismay over what the Bush administration did, you are like all Republicans, Hillary, Hillary, Bill, Hillary.

See, you aren't even aware of the event, because it wasn't Hillary.

I barely recall it
. it was all part of the firing of the US AG's which was the much bigger story -and it was an institutional failing -not one of personal character.
What damn Hillary is her shitty judgment here, and in her job, along wth her personal arrogane she could lie her way thru this.

That goes right against her abilities and character ( shitty judgment means poor performance)
