Trump's dangerous comments on fighting terrorism

Your wealth is based on an elitist fascist social structure. Your mutual fund is a tool of oppression. It's gotta go. Sorry you should have bet on freedom.

ThnX for the insight...... Hopefully you aren't burden w/ a portfolio or other investments.......:)

Cool..........

I like his idea on trade but I don't think he is capable & the damage will ruin my retirement & millions of others as shock wave after shock wave rattles the world markets..

Keep in mind, if he is president he will be real busy learning what he is suppose to do, he will not have time to scurry through millions of pages of conflicting terms & the interpretations in multiple languages etc etc etc...

I dunno about the EU, but he aint gonna bully China, especially if/when the markets crash as a result of his election~hell there may be nothing to argue about, we won't be buying & they won't have anything to make......... :dunno:

Every president has a learning curve. That's why they have a Cabinet and/or advisors. Trump, easily, knows more about global finance than Obama did: Obama was a small time lawyer and community organizer before he became a state senator.

Trump has global business interests so he's going know more how the global economy works than most.

I think what's coming across more than anything in this election is what a sham Trump's private sector success is. He's a con artist, and nothing more.

He actually seems to understand very little about finance, and much less the global economy.

Even granting the premise, a con artist has to know the economy or he's going to lose. Trump has won more than he's lost or he wouldn't be a billionaire.

Most billionaires have won more than they lost. People who get there with no pumps in the road are the exception and not the rule.

Hmmmmm....maybe they should pull that big "winner" Bernie Madoff out of prison and make him CIC?

I don't necessarily agree that being a business "man" & knowing international laws regs etc is the same, but lets assume it is...

So what?? He will have "his little hands full", he does not know the thousands of laws, regs etc etc etc & "he", personally will have no time to work on it even if he did..

He will hire great ppl, maybe even some from his show?? Who knows, he wants us to just "trust him"....

I trust him about as much as I do hillary & then only as far as I could throw them...

waterboarding is of dubious value; its torture and doesn't give real info. But using counter-terrorism activities -
whether it's taking down Twitter accounts, or combating ISIS/AQ online pays direct benefits.
Drone warfare with proper targeting works too ( no to signature strikes, or local insurgents)

If it wasn't for the recent successes of ground troops we would be considering US ground troops -we'd have to -
it can't be done by air. But even there the sectarian militias have become killing squads, burning down, or dragging Sunni
survivors todeath/houses. The Shiite militias do their own brand of torture - we don't notice it because we don't want to.
So going after ISIS still leaves the region ripe for salafi jihad as an export. the best we can do is tamp it back down to an insurgency

It always comes down to who do you go with: Trumps wild rhetoric, or do you go with Clinton's expressed failures?
I figure Trump would modify his incendiary; but Clinton is way too entrenched in her neocon mannerisms to change.

Sec. of Def. Panetta says it was instrumental in finding OBL....thats the guy that Obama likes to brag about killing, remember.

Do you fancy yourself a wartime strategist like our JPP liberals ?

Despite Trumps rhetoric, unlawful orders won't be carried out by our Armed Forces........

Spare the hyperbole.

I showed where Obama *targeted* a 16 year old Muslim and you slough it off because he's Obama and not Trump. Obama doesn't verbally advocate going after families members but he will because he has. Why would he do that, btw? Besides the fact he's Obama and can get away with it, it sends the same sort of message to terrorists that a Putin would send.

I'm not saying I advocate it. But it goes on. Trump being Trump, he just comes out in the open with it. He should get points for transparency lol. But he's not going to use the military pull terrorists families from their homes at night. What he will do, is ignore their human shield tactic and target the terrorists even if it means killing their families.

That's what Trump meant by not fighting a politically correct war.

The double standard is alive and well...otherwise Hillary would have been indicted months ago....

You either trust him or you don't. But the criticism about not knowing the thousands of laws and regs pertaining to finance can be made about any candidate---including Hillary and especially, Obama. Like all presidents, Trump would appoint someone who does know it, who agrees with his basic philosophy.

Makes it sound like you're looking for an excuse to criticize him. There's plenty of that that goes on around here lol.

going after terrorists families ( deliberately, and for no other reason ) is wrong/ineffective/war crime.
You can't do it. you shouldn't do it./ it's a barbarism.

This came about because of the san Bernandino shooting -
where the mother living with the couple of terrorists said she had no knowledge it was a bomb factory.

You can go after her on a conspiracy charge -but not killing. Enemy combatants are different then killing family members
if they are a direct threat, then you go after them; other wise charge them with crimes, or nothing at all

we like to think of ourselves as above such activities.
We just quietly (CIA) assassinate them - not airing our dirty laundry in public.

Don't waste you time explaining to the imbeciles what is obvious to the rational people....the double standard endures

You won't convince the gullible or get them to admit to CIA assassinations....or get them to believe that 'extraordinary rendition' was the brain child of Bill Clinton....

true enough. Trump runs his mouth and I wouldn't consider supporting him -except for trade/federalism/a change of the bureaucrats - and the fact Hillary is the Worst Possible Candidate.

Basically the dems are stale ( as any party would be) really offer nothing now that Sander is out .
And Hillary is a No Go.

This is a really bad cycle choice -but I'm tired of going 3rd party too.
