Corbyn faces full-blown coup as SIX shadow cabinet members quit

Tell us which Tory Brexit leader didn't even turn up in your Tory parliament yesterday, Canute.

Why should he? Unlike the treacherous shits, he was elected by the whole Party. What we must do is take away their meal ticket and send them out to work.
Sorry Taffy but he just lost a no confidence vote by a huge margin, he's toast.

The sooner we get rid of all these work-shy tories elected only because they stole the Labour label, and replace them with working people, the better. Thney have no support anywhere except in the tory papers.

seems like a lot of the labor people voted to leave even when corbyn made the case to remain. That doesnt sound like support to me :)

Well, it certainly wasn't support for the careerist crooks, was it, you extremely silly person? Like most of us, Mr Corbyn gave the EU 7 out of 10, whereas the poor people who created the Labour Party just protested against Thatcherblairism. Nobody wanted this vote except a few fascists , so it was used for other purposes, obviously.

George Galloway and Tony Benn, are they Tories?

At the very least with such a crisis on his hands corbyn should call for labor elections. Always best to sort it one way or another asap.

Corbyn's grass-roots support should enable him to win the leadership- again.
The question then would be- how to deselect all the Tory moles and Blairites in one fell swoop- then press for a general election with hundreds of new , Socialist, MPs.

The difficulty is that the PLP represent no-one but themselves and their incredible sense of entitlement. When deselected they will desperately try to sabotage any Labour victory, as they have tried to sabotage any opposition to the tories. The interesting times started by the tory crooks look set to continue for a fair old period.

Britain will be better off once UKIP takes labours place as the second party :)

That is what is about to happen, but with the present rules he can put himself up again and get re-elected. It was Ed Milliband that charged the rules so that anyone in the Labour party can vote. Of course every left wing loony like Moonbat and Iolo signed up and he got in as a result. He has absolutely no support in the parliamentary party and commands no respect, in Gaza they they would have just thrown him off a roof.

The Eagle is... stranded? Angela Eagle POSTPONES attempt to dislodge Jeremy Corbyn as leader

  • Corbyn expected to face a formal challenge from Angela Eagle later today
  • Labour leader has faced an unprecedented revolt from his Labour MPs
  • Watson told him to quit last night after failing to find a 'negotiated' end
  • Claims McDonnell and aide Seumas Milne telling Corbyn to cling on

Angela Eagle today postponed an attempt to challenge Jeremy Corbyn's Labour leadership to give 'more time' for the beleaguered leader to quit. The former shadow first secretary of state had been expected to launch her challenge at around 3pm as Mr Corbyn continued to refuse to resign despite an unprecedented revolt. It was claimed today he was being prevented from resigning by shadow chancellor John McDonnell and his key aide Seumas Milne.

There are strong rumours Owen Smith, another senior Labour MP, is also prepared to gather the 50 nominations necessary to trigger a leadership contest. At a speech today launching an anti-Semitism report, Mr Corbyn admitted he had endured a 'torrid few days' but insisted again he would not be resigning. Mr Corbyn has repeatedly said this week he is not going to quit despite an unprecedented revolt from Labour MPs and his team has demanded the rebels start a contest if they believe they can win.

The cascade of resignations continued today as Rob Marris walked out of the Treasury team during a Commons committee session on the Finance Bill.
