Watch the British Pound collapse

I noticed you ran your ass from the videos I posted showing those peasants saying "I didn't know it would count! I would have voted differently! What about my job???" this morning.

And you also ran your ass from the video of that con artist Farage reneging on one of the main campaign promises of the Leavers - 350 million pounds a week to go to the NHS "oh that was a mistake, yeah we're not doing that".

What a craven disgrace.

You're ugly inside.

Yes how dare the peasants actually be allowed to vote for something so profound!!

It's just a statement of fact.

Where would you draw the line at a direct popular vote? Do you think "peasants" should vote on complex monetary policy, trade issues, foreign policy decisions, etc.?

I didn't think it was worthwhile responding to, you obviously have little appreciation of the issues and I can't be bothered to mansplain it to you

Those videos should give everyone pause about how this was handled.

I mean, something like this could conceivably cause a global economic collapse. And you have people saying well, uh, I didn't think it would really pass, and thought it would just be a kick to vote for leaving.

You can't explain it you mean. There's nothing to explain. The leave campaign immediately reneged on one of the main promises of their campaign. That is indisputable. And a bunch of English retards are on television this morning crying "I didn't know my vote would count! What about my job?!" Indisputable. You're not a man and so you won't address it. Also, indisputable.

profound is a good word.
The populace has to determine whether it's an independent sovereign nation with no subordination to anyone else -
or if it should be part of a larger collective.

That's about as "profound" as it gets - questioning what is it's ultimate state of existence as a nation

Constitutional issues, there was a referendum on the EU in 1975 so it was well overdue. Look, you have your system and you like it, I get that. Similarly we have ours and it works pretty well, most of the time. Gordon Brown promised a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty back in 2009 but then reneged on the deal. He was never forgiven for that.

no. that is the purpose of a representative government -to make decision on HOW to govern itself.

Brexit was a decision of WHAT constitutes itself as a nation. where does it's government's parameters exist.

In the future all people will vote on everything from their smartphones as issues are brought to a vote.

Just like reality TV. True democracy.

Well for a start it was never £350 million, that is the gross amount handed over to the EU each week. The net amount is around £180 million after rebates and EU grants etc. This was made abundantly clear very early on in the campaign but TV presenters are stupid and moronic for the most part. I might also point out that the UK is also subject to the various EU bailouts and bribe money, Turkey being a case in point. We recently were mugged for a billion to pay off that evil bastard Erdovan to stop migrants drowning off Greece in flimsy rafts. As for voters that didn't know what was going on, well we had our fair share of imbeciles as well.

Oh you're so full of shit. It was an out and out promise that was immediately reneged on. And some of the idiots who voted to leave, are citing Leave campaign deceit.

http://www.vox.com/2016/6/24/12024634/brexit-supporters-regret-vote

That segment, coupled with the actually severely mentally deficient who just voted because it seemed cool but didn't think it would count, are going to cause you big problems.

You are one of the slimiest most dishonest hacks ever to post on a message board, so you will never admit, but today, only 24 hours after the vote, the referendum would not pass if voted upon again.

And that's a problem for the UK.

Suit yourself, I attempted to answer your question honestly but you just responded in your usual inimitable fashion, have at it!
