It's standard fare for the left. Virtually every time after a Muslim slaughters innocent Americans, almost as if on cue, some liberal pol will warn of an impending anti-Muslim back lash. It's almost like a reflex it's so predictable.

The thing of it is, even during spikes of anti Muslim backlash, Muslims still lag behind Jewish victims of hate crimes according to FBI statistics. Globally, Christians are the most persecuted religious group; likely due to what's going on in the Middle East but also because there are millions of Christians in places like China and etc. Hillary will call attention to none of the above because it's not politically expedient to do so.

She is also pretty tone deaf. You have to wonder how that sounds to the gay community. A radical Muslim shoots up a hundred gays, kills half of them, and Hillary is worried about Muslims? She'll see to it that the gay cakes are baked but as far as being protected from radical Muslims gays are on their own.

They must be like 'Really?!' Apparently, rank and file gays, like rank and file democrats and republicans are cannon fodder. If she's not careful, she's going to cause a split in one of her constituencies.

But Hillary would never listen to me lol.
