Emailgate and the Dictator Within

"if you are a Republican or lean that way you think she compromised vital national security information and if you are a Democrat, well you probably think the same thing but don't think that it is a big issue..."

Just a few days ago you told me the private server was the problem, not compromising national security.

yes that is exactly what the issue is. But people seem to think its the content. Its not. Its the fact that she set up a system to evade all accountability to the people.

She didn't set it up to avoid accountability.
She set it up to avoid witch hunts like that of the now discredited Trey Goudy and Judge Kenneth Starr.

her behavior in setting up the server, her denials that fell apart over time, her casual disregard for rules, her not interviewing for the State IG report
after claiming she would meet with anyone.
her entire modus operandi shows her disdain for following the rules/transparency - and dissembling shows her arrogance in pursuit of power.

That's who she is - not the campaign she runs. She would be another Nixon in that regard.

Ok prognosticator.

It only could have if she were able to keep it secret.

interesting. Let us say for the sake of argument trump gets elected. Would you be ok with him hiding all his correspondences while in office in a private server seperate from the govt?

Would you be ok if we gave every elected and appointed official this privilege?

1. He already has it retard.
It is called executive priviledge.
Damn you are fucking ignorant.

2. Trump isn't getting elected.

executive privelege is only for certain things it does not mean you can lock everything away on a private server. It does not prevent people holding you accountable at the ballot box for acts you did while in office.

again would you support all government officials having their own private servers?

Ask me again when after you learn about executive priveledge.

I believe "transparency" requires accurate record keeping. However getting those records from a president (or aides) would run into EP.

It's not a means to circumvent record keeping
