DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT REGARDING TRAGIC TERRORIST ATTACK IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

- June 12, 2016 -

Last night, our nation was attacked by a radical Islamic terrorist. It was the worst terrorist attack on our soil since 9/11, and the second of its kind in 6 months. My deepest sympathy and support goes out to the victims, the wounded, and their families.

In his remarks today, President Obama disgracefully refused to even say the words 'Radical Islam'. For that reason alone, he should step down. If Hillary Clinton, after this attack, still cannot say the two words 'Radical Islam' she should get out of this race for the Presidency.

If we do not get tough and smart real fast, we are not going to have a country anymore. Because our leaders are weak, I said this was going to happen – and it is only going to get worse. I am trying to save lives and prevent the next terrorist attack. We can't afford to be politically correct anymore.

The terrorist, Omar Mir Saddique Mateen, is the son of an immigrant from Afghanistan who openly published his support for the Afghanistani Taliban and even tried to run for President of Afghanistan. According to Pew, 99% of people in Afghanistan support oppressive Sharia Law.

We admit more than 100,000 lifetime migrants from the Middle East each year. Since 9/11, hundreds of migrants and their children have been implicated in terrorism in the United States.

Hillary Clinton wants to dramatically increase admissions from the Middle East, bringing in many hundreds of thousands during a first term – and we will have no way to screen them, pay for them, or prevent the second generation from radicalizing.

We need to protect all Americans, of all backgrounds and all beliefs, from Radical Islamic Terrorism - which has no place in an open and tolerant society. Radical Islam advocates hate for women, gays, Jews, Christians and all Americans. I am going to be a President for all Americans, and I am going to protect and defend all Americans. We are going to make America safe again and great again for everyone.

U.S. intelligence suspected ISIS had acquired thousands of blank Syrian passports and at least one passport printing machine after taking over government offices in Syria. Officials from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) said in a 17-page report that the terror group has likely been able to print legitimate-looking Syrian passports since at least last summer – and raised the possibility that people using the forged documents have snuck into America.

It goes beyond the words. The refusal to utter the term 'radical Islam' is emblematic of the current administrations overall posture with regards to the problem. From not properly recognizing the Muslim Brotherhood for what they are, to allowing CAIR to have anything at all to do with what our national security apparatus is permitted to know about the Koran and how it relates to radical Islam.

Mislabeling Islamic terrorist acts as 'workplace violence' and etc. Trump may be no Ronald Reagan but he will put a stop to that crap.

State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke told reporters the agency would not meet Brotherhood figures visiting Washington but gave no detailed explanation why. U.S. officials had met with Brotherhood figures in Washington in January.

"We've decided not to hold a meeting," he said. "We engage with representatives from across the political spectrum ... (I) don't have any further reasoning than we simply aren't meeting with them this time."

The tensions reflect a clash between U.S. diplomats' desire to deal with the whole political spectrum in Egypt and a fear of alienating Sisi, the current president.

The United States has had ambivalent dealings with Sisi, prizing the stability he has brought to Egypt while cautiously criticizing Egypt's human rights record and the authorities' crackdown on the Brotherhood.

Sisi, who was elected president in a 2014 landslide but with lower-than-expected turnout that raised questions about his mandate, regards the Brotherhood as part of a terrorist network that poses a threat to the Arab and Western world

This is Hillary's worst nightmare. Not only does the dust-up over 'because he's Mexican' suddenly look silly, but Hillary advocates a liberal policy towards Syrian immigration.

Trump is in an idiot in some ways, but he knows an exposed jugular when he sees it. I'll be very surprised if he doesn't hammer Hillary with this.
 
Trump is a disgusting p.o.s. using this tragedy to criticize Obama and Hillary. It's not the time for that, yet you cons are eating it up. :mad:

Why shouldn't Obama be criticized for this? Who's in charge?

As for Hillary, this is an election year. If someone bombed an abortion clinic she'd be on it like a fly on stink.
