So disagreement equates to racism now? I don't pretend to speak for the guy. It's possible what he said he witnessed was true while also completely missing the big picture. Again, is that racism?

I guess we just have a different take on the issue cawacko. It is a mind set like Robertsons, I feel they are revisionist and dangerous and racist.

Although you feel it only addressed those field workers, he goes on to expand his comment, they were happier before entitlements, welfare.

The blacks working in those fields with Robertson were highly unlikely to complain to a white man about their mistreatment by whites.

That he felt blacks grew up like he did in the South is dangerous and racist? How so?

I've never chosen to watch Duck Dynasty because I loathe wreality tv, and because I am not a hunter. It has been entertaining to watch all of the hysteria surrounding the show, and noticing all of the junk pop-up in stores. I do think it's pretty cool that Phil played football with Terry Bradshaw back in high school.

I can't stand reality TV either and wouldn't know anything about DD or Robertson but he drives liberals crazy so Phil is my kind of guy lol.

every actual human I have ever discussed the show with thinks he is a racist OR they like him and are racist themselves
