Yes. For the very same reasons. If you need to have an armed person in the class room in your community you have bigger problems within that community that need to be resolved.

Statistics show far more kids would die or be injured from accidental discharges than assailant attacks. Get it?

Also, having arms in school is simply not conducive to a quality educational background or safety. So what would be the point other than to stroke gun fetish?

well actually it's the other way around. In the real world, not NRA fantasy land, more people would die due to arming schools than from rare attacks by nut jobs. Besides no one is saying that in specific cases you can't have appropriate security in schools but this idea of making an armed camp out of them is nuts. School isn't the army. Keep your guns at home along with you smart phones and weed.
