Lawmakers are asking for members of the U.S. House of Representatives to file articles of impeachment against Obama, the U.S. attorney general, the U.S. secretary of education and other administration officials involved in the decision to let transgender students use bathroom corresponding to the gender with which they identify, not necessarily the gender listed on their birth certificates.

The measure was filed as Senate Concurrent Resolution 43.
