ISIS has executed 25 people in Mosul, northern Iraq, by lowering them in a vat of nitric acid, local news reports. More than two dozen men had been accused of spying on ISIS on behalf of Iraqi government security forces. According to witnesses, the 25 alleged 'spies' had been tied together with a rope and lowered in a large basin containing nitric acid until their organs dissolved.

 
They are losing a lot of ground, hopefully within the next year or two the last of their territory will be rounded up and they'll be annihilated.

Killing criminals publicly is a good idea. Otherwise people think the criminals bought their way out and are still alive. No need to torture them, of course. Hanging is fine, but it has to be public.
