Teflon Don Trump releases his Supreme Court picks

I half expected Dangerous Don to say he was going to appoint his business buddies.

The list confirms my belief that Dangerous Don will be a better president than GWB was.

You know if Im being 100% honest I have to say Trump doesnt know any of these guys. He probably just told sessions or someone to pick 9 names out of a hat that would be moderately acceptable to republicans and would not freak out the sanders people.

Which incidentally is not that terrible a way to go about this.

I am pretty sure they would freak out most of the Sanders people.
 
The uncertainty over who Trump might pick (at one point, he floated his sister) has prompted some to privately encourage the Senate Majority Leader to back off his refusal to give Obama nominee Merrick Garland a hearing. The thinking is two-fold: First, Trump will probably lose to Hillary Clinton. Second, Obama could withdraw the moderate Garland after the election so that President-elect Clinton would get to appoint a vastly more liberal (and younger) alternative.
