We had this debate back in the 90's. People don't vote the The First Lady or first husband or whatever into office---it's not even an office. It's the person who happens to be married to whomever gets elected and they should stick whatever it is they do besides setting national policy.

Hillary basically said during Bill's first campaign you are getting a two for one so it's not like voters weren't aware she was going to be an active participate.
