Wendys to offer self-serve kiosks at 6,000+ stores!!!! More job losses thanks to libs

It's the liberal's fault. They made wages so high and government regulation so burdensome that the flower sellers you see are ex-CEOs who were forced to close their businesses down and lay off thousands of Americans.

Hmm. Jeffrey Skilling's eligible for parole next year and he's a Pittsburgh boy. I'll have to keep an eye out. :D

See, liberals like you are stifling the invisible hand of the free market with unconstitutional government overreach.

If it weren't for burdensome and unnecessary regulation, the US could have young entrepreneurs like this competing on every corner in America:

I love how leftwads think thier policies have nothing to do with anything bad.

Let me break it down for you economically retarded water heads

Automation has a cost. If te cost of labor is cheaper than labor then the employer will choose labor. If you libtards artificially raise the cost of labor making it more expensive than automation then the employer will choose automation

Got it? I doubt it

If only the world and economics were so simple. Sadly it is not so black and white. There are multiple factors to consider. The cost of automation technology sinking, the increased spending power of a higher paid lower and middle class, the effect of automated customer service terminals on customer base, etc. Not simply cost vs cost. Sure, increased labor costs will lead a business to consider ways to save perhaps, but it isn't a cost of automation vs cost of labor dispute. It all has to do with the businesses bottom line. If the company's profits continue steadily with a higher minimum wage, which they have been shown to do in cities that have implemented higher wages, the draw of automation diminishes, however will still become more and more attractive as the systems costs decline.

Shut up, liberal.

All these Washington bureaucrats have caused Americans to lose jobs with burdensome and unnecessary government overreach.

Now countries like Indonesia and Haiti are stealing all the jobs that Americans used to do, because they're more competitive and don't have environmental or labor laws that hobble the job creators.

Trump will bring every one of those jobs back. You'll see.

Haiti??? It's all black which means nobody there can read or count or even tell time. They can't steal anyone's job.

I really can't eat at those places.

To the OP, automation is basically the future. We have to adapt to it any way you slice it. There was a discussion on one of the cable shows the other night about Trump's promise to win trade deals & bring back "those jobs." It was a group of industry people, and they were saying how most of "those jobs" simply don't exist anymore. They've been automated, so there is nothing to bring back to the U.S.

Now, if you big government guys want to mandate that companies shouldn't be allowed to automate, good luck with that. It's probably better to prepare the population for the future economy, though.
Yeah. That was all buckshot and lies.

What is the future economy?
