How Trump should treat the new London mayor

Since the UK is mocking Trump and they do not want him in their country, Trump should tell the UK that if they apologize and offer him the red carpet as President, that he will invite the mayor of London to the White House. This puts the burden of respect on the UK and not Trump. If they do not welcome him to the UK, should he welcome them to the USA?

Reality is Trump wins either way.
 
I'd counsel Trump to leave this where it's at. He congratulated Khan and said it would be great if he became a good mayor. I'd stop with that. He's not running against the guy and it would boost his standing with Muslims here at home. Though they're such a small minority they're practically irrelevant from an electoral standpoint.

And I'd counsel the new Muslim mayor to not start a pissing contest with Trump lol. He usually wins those.

What if the House invites Khan despite Trump's position, like they did with Netanyahu.

Trump should invite the London Mayor to Mara Largo so he can see how Americans live outside of dirty cities like London.

That's not what Trump said lol. Trump offered an olive branch to Khan. Also, since Khan isn't a refugee Trump wasn't referring to him to begin with.
