Bernie is the Trump-thumper, not Billary. Polls.

Interesting read. Both Obama and Bernie have demonstrated that ' the Jewish vote ' is no longer a requirement for political success in the US.

It needs to be understood that support for Israel amongst Jewish-Americans is nothing like as staunch as some imagine. The more fascist Israel becomes the faster that support wanes.

Do Jewish votes matter in the US election?

Increasing numbers of US politicians conclude that distancing from Israel does little to harm their political standing.

While it is not now generally known, it's likely that the single most important day for the United States' standing in the Middle East took place nearly 70 years ago, on May 12, 1948.

In a White House meeting on that Wednesday, President Harry Truman told his Secretary of State, George Marshall, that he'd decided the US would recognise the State of Israel, whose creation would be announced two days later by David Ben-Gurion.

Marshall was enraged. The retired general, admired as the architect of the US' victory in World War II, told Truman his decision was a mistake. Support for Israel would offend the US' Arab allies, require constant US military support and entangle the nation in a controversial alliance.

The US needed to take a more even-handed approach, he argued, then irritably noted that Truman wanted to recognise Israel not because it was good policy, but because it would gain him Jewish votes - which he needed to win the next election.

Jews tend to vote Democrat. Seems Democrats have pandered enough to blacks and Hispanics they no longer need the Jews.

As for the OP, Bernie can't be all that special when it's predicted that 1/3 of his supporters could potentially lean for Douchebag Donald in November. :D

When you look at Billary's past announcements and future intentions it isn't difficult to see why.

I don't actually support the broken system- but if I did I'd choose the Trumplet over Billary simply because Trump will be easier to evict from the White House further up the road. He's already displayed unconstitutional behavior. Billary is cunning and more dangerous to ordinary Americans.

Reasoning behind that is the loathing for Clinton as corporate whore, warmonger, slime attacks.
I am not a stupidperson and if Trump could show some degree of "presidentialism" ( acting like an adult) I'd seriously consider him
because of Clinton's loathsome behaviors.

Trump has blown up the Repub establishment, and if he can do tthsame thing to the DC power structure that is another reason
Trump is an isolationist though -as much as Clinton is an interventionist...in other words it's not an impossibility i'd vote for him
considering there is no way in hell I can support Clinton
