I think that electing Donald Trump will ultimately mean that in 2020 the democrats will win the white house and probably congress and you will see a long time of democrats in power all because of the nasty taste Trump will leave in the mouths of anybody when they speak of republicans/conservatives. He will all but ruin any chance of this country refocusing on limited government and the constitution for decades in my opinion. I don't want Clinton or Trump to be the president but i'd rather try and have a strong conservative congress keep Clinton in check for four years and make sure that she doesnt try to do anything unconstitutional and then elect a real conservative in 2020 than to let Trump define what it means to be a conservative. Donald Trump is an insincere man in my opinion and is not running for president to preserve, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States but to expand his brand, his wealth, and his power.
When has he ever in all of his campaigning talked about limited government, the constitution, and liberty? All he ever really talks about is nationalism, not patriotism mind you but nationalism, he talks about government healthcare, he talks about tariffs and making us pay more for things out of vengeance for other countries (so he punishes us for it), he talks about punishing companies for leaving the country to do business (which he doesn't have the power to do) and never talks about just making it better for businesses to run in this country instead he wants to punish and not help. His message is that of power that comes from him. That's scary and that's not what the founders wanted, that's what they fought against.
