Yes, I would have. He is one of many that are going to be really disappointed when Trump does NOTHING on immigration, no wall, no massive deportation.

No, he won't beat Hillary and he knows it, that's why all the outrageous promises, like deporting all illegals, building the wall and defeating ISIS are made because Trump knows his followers IQ match their bowling shoe sizes.

Knowing Trump followers, like yourself, the things they were saying were probably not very nice or true, so Cruz decided to engage them. They were probably telling him to drop out and he wanted to explain to them why he wasn't dropping out.
