While c we all love to argue over homosexuals the real issue here has nothing to do with that. It is impossible to know if someone is transgender or homosexual for that matter. Without this law anyone could wander into any restroom and claim it to be what they identify with. Maybe they do it for a laugh maybe to be a jerk maybe for all the wrong reasons.
If you opt for the knife you can change your birth certificate and not violate the law. If you don't you don't give equal protection. And that's no good.

In general I agree with you, but when kids keep getting shot up in schools, its time to look at all options to prevent that. I haven't seen a proposal that would prevent that yet, but I am willing to listen. You see I am all about live and let live until innocents are harmed by some action. At some point, the cost of allowing ownership of assault rifles is too many children dead. We clearly have not reached that point yet, but we might some day.
