Will Trump Pick a woman V.P.?

Doubt he wants the job period but it would be fun. He might consider secstate.
Mainly DJT needs someone outside the political establishnent.

Like who? HE is going with someone from the establishment if he can get anyone to agree. Trust me.

I don't think that Trump will pick a female for his VP candidate. I think that his ego is so big that he will see doing something like that as a sign that he needs that sort of help or appeal which in my opinion he believes he does not need.

anyways....The bigger picture are the Dem's amnesia to Hillary's war-hawking..I mean that is a Commander in Chief function
and she shows absolutely 0% ability to learn from her fiascos.. "smart power" stupidity.

and the biggest picture....
discussing which creature is less loathsome a choice for POTUS ; Trump or Clinton *yuk*

why do we never get a decent choice?

Hillary is more hawkish than she's generally given credit for. I just read her foreign policy speech as Sec State and she sounded as hawkish as anyone running in the republican primary. It was fairly coherent, btw. Of course, so is Mein Kampf, so there's that.

I was hoping Trump would pick Ben Carson, the erudite gentleman would make an excellent VP.

I wouldn't bet on it. Trump is predictably unpredictable lol.

Great idea, the NO POLITICAL or FORIGN POLICY experience ticket.

I agree he won't pick someone to patch a hole. It will be to have the best and brightest.

I don't know about that. He was quoted as saying that you should surround yourself with people less smart than you so that they respect you and listen. He will pick someone that will simply say yes to his word.

If his history is any indication, you are correct.

Is that what you call his advisor that think the Native Americans will conspire with Turkey to nuke the US? He doesn't really sound like the best and brightest to me, he kind of sounds like an idiot.

Walk softly and carry a big stick!

I thought you guys liked tough talking politicians?

No, he was quoted as saying less successful not less smart. That's a notable difference. You want the smart you don't need the conflict.

Yes you are right that it was success not smart. That still doesn't help though in my opinion since if he is president then everybody in the room is pretty much less successful and so there would be no incentive for him to get the best and the brightest since he would want everyone in that room to be in awe of him. At least that's my opinion.

I see where you're going with that, but there's a couple of ways to look at it. It could be that Trumps ego is such that he will pick inferior advisors to make him look good.

Or, his ego could drive him to be the best thing since sliced bread, in presidents terms. In order to do that, he would need the best advisors he could get. I don't know which is right [one of his many critics will chime in with that lol] but if it's the latter, Trump could surprise some people if he were to get elected.

Also, there's the populist criticism of Trump. It's true, Trump is a populist. But that also means he's not an ideologue that will keep repeating the same mistake over and over because he's ideologically inflexible. We've seen quite enough of that the past 7+ years on foreign policy and in domestic issues. And even before then to some extent in the Bush years.
