I like Boehner so much more since he left office. This is priceless.

John Boehner paid a visit to Stanford University on Wednesday, where the former House speaker offered this rather rough assessment of Ted Cruz, a man much of the Republican establishment has (grudgingly) rallied around this year, via the Stanford Daily:

When specifically asked his opinions on Ted Cruz, Boehner made a face, drawing laughter from the crowd. “Lucifer in the flesh,” the former speaker said. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.” …

I think hate for Cruz is the reason the Establishment was unable to get behind a real effort to stop Trump. They knew they would have had a very hard time skipping over him if they stopped Trump and he was less acceptable to then than even Trump.

Id like it if Boehner would tell the stories of Cruz's actions that led to his feelings about Cruz.
